Mercury expands QuickParts program

United States

Mercury Marine, a division of Brunswick Corp., is expanding its QuickParts Distributor program, having chosen Land 'N' Sea Distributing, Inc. to service the southcentral United States, which includes New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi, the company reported in a Friday, February 28 statement. Mercury will now have QuickParts Distribution throughout the 50 states.

QuickParts Distribution began as a pilot program in 1999, with four test markets throughout the United States. Its primary mission was to ensure that genuine Quicksilver OEM replacement parts would be available for use in conjunction with Mercury engines, said the company. Mercury said it feels that providing OEM reliable parts to mechanics is critical to keeping people involved in, and excited about, boating.

Land 'N' Sea's QuickParts Distribution program now covers 36 states from coast to coast. From its 10 US distribution warehouses, it can effectively cover the broad market with same-day or next-day delivery, according to Mercury.
